Overview
Own your own emoji URL and show your creativity with a Yat! Your own personalized link backed by the blockchain. We were tasked with creating an ad strategy that would allow potential customers to learn more and get excited about Yat’s while building a community and playing up the personality of the client.
Challenge
The NFT space and crypto market has been something that has been very hard for the everyday person to get into.Even with the launch of the metaverse and the boom of crypto currency and NFTs, blockchain tech has a lot of barriers to entry.
Approach
We wanted to create an experience for users that made it easier to get behind what a Yat was and have people begin a conversation about this new technology and how it will impact their presence online. I came up with an ad set that gamified their paid social to increase engagement and get people clicking through to the website to learn how they could get their own Yat. This coincided with the release of Yat 2.0 which would bring in large NFT influencers into the community. I pulled my inspiration from the movies and video games that I have loved so much to spark the conversation.
Results
The highest engagement the account had ever seen. Top of funnel was where we could get the most people talking, sharing, and engaging with the brand. For a longtime the approach was explaining what a Yat was and how it was used. What we found was that by gamifying the ads we were able to get customers interested enough to go onto the website where they could educate themselves further and be pushed further down the funnel.
