Overview
ModernElectron has built the first of its kind generator and heating system that replaces a conventional furnace and helps make your home energy independent.The client was still looking for market fit and were trying to spur pre-order sign-ups while nailing down messaging and target demographic.
Challenge
We needed to highlight the importance of this new technology and understand who the target market was in order to have the creative talk to those customer pain points. The ads and email messaging had to talk to the target consumer and reinforce the value of this preventative upgrade for their home to ensure their family’s safety
Approach
By targeting very specific personas we were able to zero in on the perfect messaging needed in order to drive engagement. The “Cold Parent” persona wanted to ensure that if their home was ever effected by a blackout their house would stay warm and have electricity. The messaging was then focused on targeting families in specific demographic regions of the US that may be affected by blackouts due to climate change.
Results
We had ads that had high engagement and drove users onto the website in order to dive deeper on the product. Not only were we driving new users, we streamlined the website in order to get users to convert and pre-order. Once signed up we created a user experience through email that kept the buyer informed and engaged on the product and brand. Our strategy increased the brand’s reach while also establishing a clear persona to target making for a much more premium and tailored user experience.
