SuperGrafs
Overview
I was tasked with designing a brand and bringing the creative vision of SuperGrafs to life. SuperGrafs is the first of its kind online marketplace for autographs and memorabilia from all of your favorite celebrities. After establishing the brand I moved into carrying the look and feel into the digital space and building out the marketplace from which SuperGrafs would launch.
Challenge
The client had just a very rough idea of how he would like the brand to look and provided a couple examples of script fonts that he was leaning towards. I needed to design the logo mark from scratch though to increase legibility while still having that autograph feel.Once branding was locked in I needed to create a marketplace that was easy to navigate and explained what the product offering was.
Approach
Starting from some rough concepts I wanted the logo mark to reflect the product offering, autographs. Problem is most of the time autographs are entirely illegible so I needed to create a mark that you could read and still felt hand written in some way. I hand wrote out the logo mark and then vectorized it. After we established a brand styling I went to work on creating a marketplace that quickly explained the ordering process and showcased the value of the different tiers offered for each partnered celebrity.
Results
I was able to create a brand mark that was reflective of the product offering and was able to carry that styling onto the website. The architecture of the website was easy to navigate and walked the user through the entire order process to help legitimize the service and build credibility of the brand as a certified seller of signed memorabilia.
